Anti-poaching rules prevents us from using drones to capture aerial photography in the Serengeti. An alternative to shoot from the sky is to use hot air balloons, an experience that goes far beyond photography. I got the chance to experience it in two occasions, once during the winter months in the Seronera region where I shot this group of hippopotamuses in the Orangi river, another time in the Ndutu region during the rainy season when the great migration of wildebeests and zebras graze this part of the plains.
